🌾 Tightened Love
Meanwhile in the outskirts of Beltimore... 😘
Down in the valley where the wildflowers grow,
Lives a young man with a secret show,
He's got a tight belt that makes folks stare,
And a wasp waist that just ain't fair.
He walks down the road with a swagger and strut,
With his Levi jeans tucked in his boots,
Got a heart full of gold and eyes full of fire,
A true country boy from head to tire.
Now the ladies all gather 'round,
To get a glimpse of that magical sound,
They fall for his charm and his honeyed voice,
But most of all, they love his fashion choice.
He don't care what folks say,
About how he wears his belt today,
For him, it's about feeling free,
"Showing off the body God gave to me."
Now the preacher man says, "It ain't right,"
His sermon filled with fear and fright,
"Young man, you gotta change your ways,"
But the lad just smiles and laughs away.
That young man with the wasp waist,
Ain't nobody gonna take his place,
He wears his belts tight without a trace
Of worry or concern on his face.
