The Jester's offering

Jesters jest and Deon is the princess' favorite jester. He can do very amusing things with his body and he can contort and make it funny and inspiring, so the princess really loves to watch him and one day she made him a gift, a bracelet for his upper arm.

The fool immediately ran off to his room to put on this bracelet, but disappeared there for almost an hour. The princess couldn't get what's so difficult about putting on a simple bracelet, but when he returned to show how it looks, the princess didn't know if she should laugh or cry: the fool somehow managed to put the bracelet on his waist instead of the shoulder and it looked both completely hilarious and very painful because his waist was ridiculously small!

But the jester kept making funny faces, so the princess decided to laugh, not to disappoint him. She said the bracelet looked beautiful on him, which was actually true. She hugged him and stroke his hair, in her heart she started to truly admire her beloved jester, she knew what pain it costed him to pull this little joke only to surprise her and make her smile.

Before Deon took off the bracelet, the princess kneeled before him and kissed his rounded belly and told Deon how beautiful he looked like that. The jester immediately blushed and the princess knew this compliment made him truly happy.
