Serpent Angel
Nobody is protected from injuries, especially those who consider themselves "unbreakable". But no matter how vulnerable the body is, the true strength is within the soul...
...That's what Yasha learned during his rehabilitation at the Backfolde Sanitarium after going a bit too far beyond the limit...
It took a month of nanobot-injections and intense therapy to get his spine back into a beautiful spiral but what truly helped is this little prayer that he learned from his new friend Noah, a fellow Italian contortionist :3
Now he always reads this prayer before taking another deep dive through his legs...
What do you think? 😄
Thank you Ms. Yuni for this drawing. I remember wearing my hair in Yasha's style. I am told I was blond then. I remember sincerely wishing to be a contortionist, but our doctor warning me I was too "springy" as if that was a dangerous thing. Oh, I long for the road not taken. Thank you for Yasha! I still recall elderly women caressing my face.
Yeah, I think at some point it wasn't the rarest haircut. I remember it from some old movies... And I'm sorry you missed the opportunity to explore! I know it would be great to do a backbend and other things, because myself as a child I could put my feet on top of my head and I still remember how it felt to this day. Unfortunately I never completed my splits, I tried several times. I wish my memory had the feeling of sitting in a split! My point is, even if you do a contortion pose just once, you never forget it. Maybe that's why I keep making my art, because the feeling is always fresh and it feels great to look at contortionists who always remind of how nice it felt 😊
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
