🙌 Future Flexorcists
The sun was setting over Tanmen as Kagemaru and Kurayami took to the stage. They had been performing together for years, but this time was different. Something was in the air. People were murmuring about strange occurrences happening around town – apps opening and closing on their own in their phones, files moving without any explanation, taking pictures out of the blue, and worse – falling out of people's hands on their own.
As they began their usual routine, Kagemaru felt a shiver run down his flexible spine. He had always been able to sense the presence of evil spirits, but this time it was different. It was as if the air itself was charged with malice.
His partner Kurayami moved gracefully, her joints bending and twisting in ways that defied the human anatomy. The crowd watched in awe as she performed seemingly impossible feats of flexibility. But she also could sense something – a dark presence lurking behind the smiles and applause.
As they finished their routine, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. But Kagemaru knew that this was no ordinary night. He could feel it – the air was charged with malice, and he knew that they had a fight on their hands.

After the show, as they packed up their things, Kurayami turned to Kagemaru with a serious expression. "Something's not right," she said. "I can feel it."
Kagemaru nodded. "We need to be ready," he said. "Whatever it is, we'll face it together."
As they left the stage and made their way outside, Kagemaru knew that they were in for a long night. They would need all of their skills and training to defeat whatever powerful evil was lurking in the air. But they were ready – they had been preparing for this moment his entire lives.
Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the mountains, there lived a young boy named Kagemaru. He was an only child, born to a loving couple who doted on him and taught him everything he knew. However, when Kagemaru was just four years old, tragededy struck. His parents were killed in a terrible poltergeist attack that left their home in ruins and Kagemaru as the sole survivor.
Devastated by the loss of his family, Kagemaru was taken in by the Nankotsu Clan, a group of skilled martial artists who specialized in fighting supernatural beings. The Clan recognized Kagemaru's natural talent for contortion and flexibility, and began training him in the ancient art of Nankotsu-ryu (lit. "cartilage dragon").
Over the next 14 years, Kagemaru worked tirelessly to master the techniques of his new home, honing his body and mind to become a powerful warrior against the forces of darkness. He learned how to use contortion to build up a special aura around his body that could protect him from harm, as well as add supernatural damage to his attacks done shortly after charging his body with contortion.
He became a flexorcist, and traveled far and wide, not only fighting evil but also demonstrating his abilities in public shows to attract new funds and members to the Nankotsu Clan.
One of these members he managed to attract several years ago, was a girl named Kurayami. Diagnosed with extreme joint hypermobility as a child, Kurayami's condition made it difficult for her to stand or walk, let alone perform more complex work, but after seeing one of Kagemaru's contortion performances, she felt she had met her true soul mate – the boy was hyperflexible like her but he was also strong and in full control of his body.
Kurayami approached him immediately, she was determined to join and prove herself, and after years of hard work and dedication, she became one of the Clan's most skilled warriors.
Together, Kagemaru and Kurayami traveled the land, using their unique abilities to fight against evil spirits and protect the innocent. They became known as the "Rubber Twins," ready to face whatever challenges came their way.

As they turned to go back to the Clan headquarters, they continued to feel a strange presence in the air. They stopped in their tracks and looked around, trying to figure out what it was. Suddenly, a dark shadow appeared from behind a nearby building.
"Who goes there?" Kagemaru called out, his voice echoing through the alleyway.
The shadow hesitated for a moment before stepping forward. It was a young boy, no more than 18 years old. He looked up at them with wide eyes and spoke in a trembling voice. "I-I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up on you."
Kurayami stepped forward, her expression softening as she saw the boy's fear. "It's okay," she said gently. "What's your name?"
The boy hesitated for a moment before speaking. "M-my name is Yuki. I saw your show earlier and I wanted to take a picture of you, but my parents wouldn't let me."
Kurayami chuckled. "Of course we can take a picture with you, Yuki. Do you have a phone?"
Yuki nodded and pulled out a small phone from his pocket. "I've been wanting to meet you both for so long," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "You're my heroes."
Kurayami smiled warmly at the boy. "Well, we're happy to meet you too, Yuki. Let's take some pictures and make some memories."
"Uh," the boy suddenly whimpered. "All my apps are messed up." He almost cried as his phone betrayed him at the most important moment in his life.
"Wait," Kurayami. "By any chance, are your files moving without any explanation as well?"
"Mmm," Yuki nodded. "How do you-..." His phone suddenly flashed, taking a picture out of the blue.
"Careful, hold it!" Kagemaru shouted, but it was too late – the boy's phone fell out of his hands on its own.

"Careful, hold it!" Kagemaru shouted, but the boy's phone fell out of his hands on its own. Kagemaru caught like a true ninja and returned the device to its owner.
"Whoa, that was some trick!" Yuki exclaimed in amazement as he examined his phone. "Thanks so much! You guys are really something else."
Kurayami smiled warmly at the boy. "It's all part of being a performer – using our talents to make people happy and create memories for them."
Yuki nodded, looking inspired. "I want to be like you guys when I grow up! Oh wow, look! My phone took a nice picture of you two by itself!"
The two ninjas looked at each other and giggled nervously. "Well, looks like your phone has some tricks up its chips too."
The boy thanked them and scurried away, grinning from ear to ear. Kurayami chuckled, "He was so excited to meet us!"
Kagemaru nodded in agreement, "It's always nice to know that we have fans." He said, a small smile playing on his lips. But he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was not right. He could feel the dark presence following them, watching them, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The air felt heavy with malice and he could sense the evil spirits closing in on them.
