🗿 The Wasped World
I think my favourite part is the feathers over his beautiful butt. It hides and accentuates just enough without going to far to either. I really like where you're going with this. It's like a Stargate / Crystal Skulls kinda thing, but it's actually good.

Please, share more of this stuff. It's really fun to have a passionate person share their passions. I'm not a train spotter, I don't know one train from another, but I've seen videos from some of these guys and their glee is contagious. I can watch hours of someone going on about something I don't really care about just because they're excited enough for both of us.
⌛ Muscle Corset
This is just fun and I love the idea of a society that can't go too far afield because they all share a passion for contortion. A lowly stevedore can achieve the same results as someone rich because it doesn't really require a lot of equipment. It's like it cinches your society together... I'll see myself out.
🌞 Waking up
I really enjoy these cute vignettes. They're like delightful tea sandwiches. And, again, you deptict relationships really beautifully.
🐙 The Wasped World
I really, really, really want more of this. All this world building in this series is just
*chef's kiss*
Getting into the darker stuff, and exploring exactly how contortion gives abilities in this world... I would watch a totally vanilla show about contortionists in some scenario that highlights it as a power or something, just because that's how fun creating works - mash up two incongruous things. Mash up opera, wizards, and scifi to get Star Wars. These stories are really unique and good, the art is brilliant, and it's a new high water mark for your lore.

It's like, being able to draw really well automatically helps bump up your storytelling ability a bit because it makes you conscious of details and when something isn't working. You also appreciate it because you appreciate how hard drawing is - I don't think any serious writer or artist is delusional enough to think the other is easier. Now take someone who never had to learn anything more than telling a computer what to draw and write... it's not even the argument over tablets and digital art, this is "creation" where you don't really know or have much input on what the final result is. I have zero interest in consuming anything that person "creates" because it's all dogshit. I'd much rather read something poorly written by a really good artist than an AI.
🦪 Pearl of the Sea
The story was a brilliant little bit of lore. It's that blend of sexy and sweet you do so well. It's almost a cliffhanger just because I need to know what the next story is. It's like a really good anthology.

Bad writers just tell you a thing exists, a good writer makes you care about how it fits in the story and what it can be used for, and in a way that allows the reader to drop themselves into someone else's shoes and really, satisfyingly, answers "what if...". It's so effing good! Not just explaining a thing, but being able to pick a reader up and put them into someone else, with different needs and drives, and be able to be someone else for even a paragraph of description. Or worse, they'll create a character with a bunch of back story and affectations that have fuck all to do with living, literarily, into a new world.
I don't really like reading fiction - I'm way more happy reading manuals and stuff. I look forward to each and every story you put out. I love getting to live in Yunia, even in small bursts.
The problem with arms race is that waist-cinching and contortion are not "really" weapons as they are useless against fellow humans (other than entertaining them). You can't save yourself from a blow by tugging the belt tighter and if your own attack involves flexibility that would probably only make it weaker. But in battles against evil spirits it's different. Who knows, maybe human bodies were actually designed to perform contortion as a weapon against some ancient evil forces. And then they lost their ways and the superpowers turned into mere entertainment or fetishes like it happened in our world ;D
Actually I took the idea of tight-belting to protect against evil spirits from some real world folklore, like, in some countries in the past people actually believed that if you go unbelted then you make yourself open to the devil and might even get possessed, except their belts weren't that tight :P
I'm very glad you enjoy these small stories about Yunia, in fact all my stories are standalone so I believe you can read any of them without reading the rest.

Again, I'm sorry for the extra post. I had to tell you that muscles and the cinching... that's not a bad look. You're winning me over.
I mean I know this kind of art that involves the use of ai tools is hard to properly measure in terms of "effort". We just have to live through this ice age because in the future there will be no such a thing as art that doesn't involve ai tools, artists will just learn it as a standard part of the process.
I also enjoy that combination (muscles and wasp waists), also wide hips and thick legs make it even hotter. Nothing against skinny guys either, would suck a ribcage any day, haha :D
Your writing always has a good flow, very poetic, but this really feels like proper storytelling. I don't know if that makes sense...
I love the lore. I adore the idea of using cinchers and corsets in the place of magic wands. I keep thinking about the fights in the first Dr. Storage, and an army of contortionist using their bodies instead of their hands would be brilliant.
On to the next one. I'm so excited!
Yeah, I'm usually inspired more by the format of short stories like "The Thousand and One Night" or the tales about Robin Hood, etc, than long ass novels. Novels are great but it's not something I can do, I guess it's like powerlifting, there are world class athletes breaking records and then there are regular fit people. Here I tried to lift a bit more and span it across several chapters, but I think it only worked for 3-4 chapters, the later chapters are not so well connected and just talk about their own thing ^^;
I'm very happy to know you liked the lore, hopefully it will be fun to expand with more ideas over time! :D
