🌵 Al-Hedsit detail 2
"Hey, Marek," Arin said, stretching his arm and putting the upper arm behind his own neck. "Check this out. I can bend my body in ways you wouldn't even imagine."
"Ha!" Marek scoffed. "You think you're something special? I've been practicing my contortion exercises for years, and let me tell you, I can do things with my body that would make your head spin."
"Yeah, well," Arin said, grinning, "I'm still more agile than you. And don't forget, I have the bigger vase on my side of the entrance."
Marek rolled his eyes. "Is that all you can think about? You may be more flexible, but mine is so much bigger compared to yours."
"Hey!" Arin protested. "Mine is perfectly fine. And besides, it's not just about the size. It's about what fits the best. Mine is definitely the better one."
"Whatever," Marek said, shrugging his shoulders. "I'm just happy to be able to do the splits while balancing on one foot. That's real flexibility, if you ask me."
Arin shook his head in amazement as Marek easily lifted his foot above his head in a standing split. "You really are a master of contortion, Marek. I don't think I'll ever be able to do that."
"Ha!" Marek said, grinning from ear to ear. "Just wait until I start teaching you my secret techniques. You'll be bending and twisting like a pro in no time."
As the day went on, Arin and Marek continued to show off their contortion skills to each other, trying to one-up each other with increasingly complex poses. They even started incorporating their vases into their routines, hand-balancing on top of them to show off even more of their hard-trained abilities.
Despite their constant bickering, the two boys remained the best of friends, always there to support and encourage each other in their endeavors. And as they stood guard at the entrance to the magic school, they knew that they were part of something truly special, being the first people to greet outsiders, they had to keep themselves in the best possible shape.
