I see you ended up going through with your plan from when we talked on discord and did draw traditionally again for a change. The result is absolutely stunning, I love this style of yours so much I really can't tell you! Seeing this posted absolutely made my day, thank you so much! He's so beautiful and it's truly inspiring!

I'm glad you liked! It's been a while I wanted to see Wolfy's hair in this style. It would be fun to draw some characters who appeared after I switched to 3D, like Nate who never had any non-3D art 😁

This is such a weird coincidence!! Just a couple of days ago I was talking to Wucro and we were researching Chat Noir models to find a good one and set it up into flexible poses etc. Seems like you had the exact same idea at the same time! How weird is that xD Although obviously you set the model up yourself, it's very impressive! Both pics are beautiful, I've always loved Chat noir *w*

Picking up on the above comment, I don't really understand what you mean... On one hand you say people would be delighted if you contacted them and greatly humbled if you drew fanart, and on the other hand you say people are full of themselves? How does that fit together..?
If I understand you correctly, you feel like you've gotten too "big" and too famous so that now everyone is intimidated by you. That's certainly true but surely it doesn't need to stay like that, it's something that can be changed. Everyone warms up to someone once they get to know them. Also, surely it's not true that people reply to you once and then instantly forget you, why would you get that idea? In my experience, when people get fanart of their characters or anything like that, they cherish it for years. My workspace walls are full of pictures I got from friends.
Idk to me it just sounds like you hate being sucessful..? To my ears that feels so counterintuitive.
On a side note, it's a complete coincidence since I commented here because of the above comment, but this picture has had a place in my heart for many years. It was one of my favorites when I was still a kid hahaha and has been ever since. I remember there was a second part to this series... Good times.
I'm worried I'll miss your reply to this comment since I don't get notified of it which would be a real shame. It's another one of those situations where I wish we had a more convenient way to communicate!

I think it makes sense, because I said back in the late 2000s everything was a community, many artists knew each other and were friends, it was fun to talk and exchange art and we had tons of projects, often you'd meet someone and keep talking with them for months or years...

But starting from the early 2010s and on, many things changed, all those "facebooks" and their greedy, optimized mentality took over, eventually DA turned into one as well, now people don't move a finger if it doesn't increase their personal views, nothing else matters...

Sometimes I write a long comment on someone's art and the artist doesn't even reply or says some "Thank you" obviously not interested in any further communication. I also had many cases when I tried to make gifts/fanarts and they just say kk thanks and then forget all about it. Not that they're supposed to keep going about it for many days, but the way it feels still sucks compared to what it was before 2010s, how everyone was a big family and how literally any shown interest would spawn a long thread...

In the mid 2010s I was still able to share ideas and fun talks with others, but in the late 2010s I barely had anybody to talk with, the friendly atmosphere was completely gone, now everyone sounds "busy", it's all about posts, content, profiles... It's like people behind them are gone, no longer reachable.

I don't care about success or even being an artist, but it all started thanks to the internet in the early 2000s, seeing how people are posting their art and talking about it, it motivated me to learn drawing because it was a great way to find friends who also liked something I like e.g. sexy boys or contortion... It was like a village I guess where everybody says guten morgen to each other, but in the 2010s grew into a city where everyone is living in separate locked appartments and if you knock on the door they're only thinking how to get rid of you as quickly as possible... not of the fact that you may have cool stuff to talk about, projects to think about, common interests and things like that.

If you draw a picture for someone, you feel like a delivery boy who delivers a pizza and never gets a piece of it, just a shut door in the face. Not saying that delivery boys are supposed to get pizza, just that it feels similar when all those artists nowadays on DA just try to get rid of you as quickly as possible.

And if I'm so "successful", it's really strange that literally everyone is acting like I'm cancelled. I've never seen any posts saying that "Yuni must be cancelled", yet it's like everyone is acting like that. But then I find it's the same for everyone. Everyone just cancelled each other...

I'm not talking about you btw, you're actually ONE person on DA who reminds me of the way it was in the old days.

A beautiful pose, I feel like this one is even more enchanting than the earlier version. And that's unusual for me, because that one was him just casually practicing/warming up and I'm a complete sucker for casual contortion xD

Knowing Yasha I can only imagine it's only the beginning of a better twist where his head goes all the way around his body and ends up with his chin somewhere over his left thigh XD The photographers look at him like a rare butterfly, unable to believe their luck... "OMG I think he's going to kiss his own butt next!" "Shhh, don't scare him!' XD

I love this piece. Looking over it, I get the feeling you're trying something new with how you render the face? It has a soft, romantic look to it (romantic not in the relationship sense, but as in the romantic period of art). There's a sensual quality to it that wasn't so present in earlier drawings of Andrzej? Maybe it's the lips. In any case I like it and the bend is stunning, of course.

I don't know, I'm working by intuition, never felt like trying to analyze it so much 😅

This is the first time in all these years where I'm looking at a picture of yours and I legitimately can't tell what kind of crazy bend is going on here xD fascinating!! Yasha really is giving a whole new meaning to these unusual kinds of bends such as neck twisting... Very cool work, as usual! I really enjoy these pictures.

Yeah, because the twist is so extreme and unusual that it's impossible to find a camera angle where it looks readable, in the end I decided to keep the angle where it looks kinda funny instead, but the pose is just impossible to understand unless you know what he's doing :P

I'm absolutely enchanted. You know me by now and how much I love this fantasy of "casual" contortion, far away from performances or showing off and more along the lines of it simply being weaved into the contortionist's daily life. After all, we all have bodies, right? And they're used nonstop all day. It's only natural for someone who cares about going past the norm when it comes to being able to move their body, to incorporate that naturally into the way they move and act, especially if it's associated with a pleasant sensation! I simply love the picture, an excellent work! So evocative, and Yasha is simply gorgeous.

Yeah it's great to think of bendy ways to do casual things and guess there's no end to the possible ideas! Can make for a great distraction if the stretch is outside the comfort zone, so can do some casual activities to be able to sustain it for way longer and sometimes even forget how much you're twisted when distracted by some book, lectures or stuff on phone or even music. Of course nothing beats video gaming while tugged into a pretzel or any other fun challenge...XD

This is incredibly interesting, I was thinking just recently about a similar idea! The 3d rendering technique makes his body look so damn good in that tight suit, I can barely stand it hahah! Absolutely stunning!

I'm stunned! He was always one of my favorite chars of yours... The way the rimlight peeks around his body is wonderful, and my oh my those muscled legs-- extremely hot! In my eyes, a beautiful masterpiece!

So glad you like him! :D He is an elf which means he's got some regeneration powers, as well as inborn hypermobility in the joints and spine, but similar to how some elves are raised in barbarian tribes, he was raised in a ninja clan, so his muscles were also polished to perfection, which is not the norm for elves :3

I'm liking this version even more than the other, the perspective is so GOOD! And somehow I'm enchanted by his chest muscles I can't take my eyes off them! Wonderful.

It's amazing when bodybuilders and athletes get into backbending, contortion always adds so much on top of already amazing bodies! I always loved to work on muscled characters but somehow I always need a kick to do that, and in this case our conversation gave it to me, so I'm glad you also enjoyed the result of it! Always eager to see new pictures of your own guys! :D
